Joel Mahilum
Joel Mahilum was born on March 18, 1974. He studied at University of the Philippines College of Fine Arts. Joel is the second son of master artist Tony Mahilum. Born in a family of artists, it was only natural that he would be interested in the arts. He started out his career by painting children with a tranquil pensive mood, instead of the energetic enigma most artists portray. With modern, stylized, textures lightly contracting the quiet and focused subject one could sense a serene mood of innocence captured on canvas.
