Jeepney is an iconic and popular mode of transportation in the Philippines. In some provinces where commutes are scarce, people would hitch a ride on top of these vehicles.

Art Facts:
The late Antonio “Tony” Mahilum, popularized the Philippine Rural Genre during the 1980’s. His style created a niche in the art scene in which his subjects that depicted historical and traditional scenes captured the interest of art collectors, fellow artists, and critics.
