Peter Abordo
Peter Abordo (b. May 8, 1971, Sampaloc, Manila) is a Filipino painter whose works transform ordinary daily activities into compelling visual narratives. He studied Fine Arts at the University of Santo Tomas under the mentorship of respected professors such as Tam Austria, Mario Santiago, and Butch Soriano. After graduating, he worked in advertising and animation studios, where his background in animation honed his eye for detail and observation—skills that became central to his art. Abordo’s paintings capture the poetry in everyday life, rendered with a sensitivity that elevates the familiar into stories that speak far beyond the canvas.
