Fil Dumalo

Fil Dumalo (b. 1957) is a Filipino visual artist known for his vibrant floral and tropical-themed paintings, often highlighting motifs like Birds of Paradise. Signing his works as F. Dumalo III, he has built a strong presence in the Philippine art scene. His painting “Still Life” (1992) notably sold at over 280% above its estimate, underscoring his growing market value. Beyond his studio practice, Dumalo has taught printmaking and visual arts at the University of the Philippines and the Philippine High School for the Arts in Laguna, contributing to the education of young Filipino artists.
